It can be cumbersome to use a checklist that must be completed and signed off in one go. That’s why we developed the multi-user checklist in collaboration with our customers. This checklist can be completed in phases by several people, saved and signed off in the meantime, and later picked up by someone else. The log allows you to see exactly who signed off on which parts and when. After saving the checklist, a colleague can pick it up for further use, hence the term “transferable checklist.” Multiple users can work on it as needed. For example, in the case of maintenance that lasts a week and involves several phases, a checklist can be completed over several days. Each point is signed off individually with a timestamp, allowing you to track progress. It is also useful for shift hand-overs, allowing important comments to be efficiently communicated to the next team for continued work. If similar checks are needed across different lines, you can create a multi-user checklist for each line, enabling colleagues to collaborate effectively. Additionally, it is invaluable for lockout\/tagout procedures, such as in the chemical or food industries, where one process must be completed before safely moving to the next step. This requires coordination among individuals who are often not in the same location (e.g., at the machine and in the control room). The examples above are primarily from the process industry and mass production, but the multi-user checklist also offers benefits for other industries. For instance, in an assembly process, you can create a digital checklist divided into phases for each station.
