Empack 2026: three days of recognition, conversations and real connection

From April 14 to 16, we exhibited at Empack 2026, and what an edition it was. For three days, Stand F16 was a meeting place for production managers, operations directors, and quality managers, all wrestling with the same question: how do I keep my shop floor under control in a world that keeps getting more complex?

The answer we gave wasn’t abstract. We simply showed it.

What stood out to us most

Trade shows can sometimes feel a little predictable: stands, brochures, sales conversations. But what struck us at Empack 2026, day after day, was how quickly conversations went deep. The moment visitors saw the live demo, a digital work instruction just like an operator would use on the shop floor, the hesitation was gone. That’s when the real questions started.

About the paper instruction binders that have been maintained for years, but in practice, nobody actually follows them. About the new employee who, three weeks in, still needs a colleague to show them the ropes. About the downtime that lasted longer than necessary, simply because the right procedure wasn’t findable at the right moment.

That remark, in all kinds of variations, was something Kevin Nguyen and Sander Gerrits heard regularly over the past three days. And that’s exactly why we were at Empack.

Digital work instructions in practice

During the demos, they showed how EZ Factory works for operators, team leaders, and managers alike. Instructions that are always up to date. Available on the tablet. Understandable for everyone, regardless of language or experience level.

No theory, but an approach that is already delivering results at organisations like Pally Biscuits, Fresenius and Refresco. Read how they made the move:

The results we see at our customers are consistent

More than a trade show

For us, Empack is not just a place to showcase software. It’s a place to listen. Every conversation at our stand gave us new insights into what’s happening on the shop floor of the packaging industry, and what production teams need to truly make the move towards a paperless, error-proof work environment.

We leave Empack 2026 with new insights, new contacts and a confirmation of something we already knew: the need for shop floor digitalisation is significant. And the willingness to take it seriously is growing.

Did you miss us? We're happy to think along with you.

Did we not meet at Empack, or was there not enough time for a proper conversation? No problem. We’d be glad to schedule a moment to discuss your situation and show you what digital work instructions can mean for your production environment.
