The Consumer Electronics Show (CES) is the most influential tech trade show in the world. Next year CES will take place from 5-8 January in Las Vegas. In 2022, EZ Factory was chosen as one of the successful start-ups to represent the Netherlands at the ‘Netherlands Tech Square’. For 2023 EZ Factory has again been chosen to participate as part of the Dutch delegation at CES, this time as a scale-up.
Robert Bouwman and Randy Appiah, founders and owners of EZ Factory will both be present at CES 2023. Robert: ‘It’s an honour that we have been invited for two consecutive years, first as a start-up and now as a scale-up. It’s particularly positive to see the Dutch government emphasising their confidence in our concept.’ Randy: ‘We very much enjoyed the vibe at CES last year and made a lot of valuable contacts. We are happy with the opportunity the government is providing us.’ The Dutch mission is an initiative of the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Netherlands Enterprise Agency.
Theme: Tech for a Responsible Future
The Dutch delegation’s theme this year is ‘Tech for a Responsible Future’. EZ Factory is closely associated with this theme, thanks to its EZ-GO platform, which makes the work of operators in the workplace safer and more efficient, increases ownership and leads to higher-quality processes and products.
First Step: CES Unveiled Amsterdam on 13 October 2022
The official kick-off of the Dutch CES mission will be during CES Unveiled Amsterdam on 13 October 2022 at the Beurs van Berlage in Amsterdam. CES Unveiled serves as the pre-show of CES. Here the latest products and trends are presented leading up to CES 2023. At the marketplace, more than 100 innovative companies from the Netherlands and other European companies will present their tech solutions and products. EZ Factory will also be present with a booth. There will also be inspiring keynote sessions by Gary Shapiro (president and CEO of CTA), Ali Niknam (founder and CEO of Bunq) and Sabine Stuiver (co-founder of Hydraloop), among others. The event is organised by the Consumer Technology Association (®CTA) in collaboration with the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate.
